New to Northwood?

Northwood is a church where we invite you to come as you are, but work to make sure you don’t stay as you are.

We hope you’ll join us this Sunday so you can experience Northwood “live and in person.” Through music, FaithStories, video clips, and practical messages, we present the timeless truths of the Bible in a way that is relevant to the real life issues we all face. Visiting a new church can be intimidating, especially if you haven’t been in a while. That’s okay, we’re excited for you to join us, just follow these simple steps:

1.Check the Service Times

We have two Sunday morning services every week at 9:30 am and 10:50 am. Quality kid’s ministries are offered at the 9:30 am service (ages birth through 5th Grade) and 10:50 am service (ages birth to 6th Grade). We also have a vibrant youth ministry. Grades 10-12 meet during the 9:30am service, and grades 7-9 meet at 10:50am.

2.Get Directions

Northwood meets at the Maple Grove Community Center. You can find directions here. When you come in the main doors, you’ll be greeted by our welcoming team who can help with any questions. The worship space is straight ahead and to the right, in the “Banquet Room” of the community center. If you see an ice arena, you’ve gone in the west entrance. Don’t worry! Just keep walking straight and you’ll eventually reach the right room!

3.Register children at the Welcome Table

In the lobby, head to the Welcome Table. Your family will be greeted and escorted to the appropriate age-graded Northwood Kids class. There you will meet our awesome teaching team members – each one screened, trained and kid-focused. Children immediately become part of a fun class designed to explore Bible truths. We’ll help you with transitioning! For security purposes, parents/guardians sign their children in and out of each class.

4.Go to Worship in the Banquet Room

Find a comfortable seat, enjoy the pre-service music and prepare to connect with God.
