Description: The Bible tells us clearly and loudly that we all sin and fall short of God’s standard. We don’t need the Bible to tell us that, though. The Holy Spirit pricks our conscience and convicts us whenever we cross boundaries we shouldn’t. And, God offers forgiveness for each and every sin if we simply confess it (admit we did wrong) and repent of it (turn away from it). God convicts us of our sin and then forgives us our sin. God is full of grace isn’t he? At the same time, though, God expects forgiven people to be forgiving people. In fact, in the Lord’s Prayer Jesus says evidence we are forgiven is that forgive those who sin against us. So, where are you with forgiveness? Have you recently confessed your sin to God? Are you currently extending forgiveness to others? Your answers determine your eternity!
